Media Train OÜ is the “Controller” within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Trust-Prompt browser extension (StoreBasic version) distributed via the Chrome Web Store and to its related website pages.

3. Data Processing Overview (StoreBasic)

Trust-Prompt is built according to the principles of privacy by design and data minimisation.

What Trust-Prompt does

Trust-Prompt checks user-entered text locally in the browser using a predefined ruleset to detect potentially sensitive content before the text is sent to an AI chat.

What Trust-Prompt does not do

Trust-Prompt StoreBasic:

does not collect personal data
does not store prompts or message content
does not transmit prompts, messages, or metadata to Media Train OÜ
does not share any data with third parties
does not use external servers or backend services
does not use analytics, telemetry, or tracking
does not call AI models or AI APIs
does not upload, read, scan, or inspect file contents (no OCR, no file access)
does not use cookies

If an upload intent (e.g. “upload”, “attach”, “PDF”, “screenshot”) is detected, the extension only displays a warning message.
No file and no file content is ever accessed.

All checks are performed exclusively on the user’s device.

4. Local Storage

To provide the basic functionality of the extension (for example keeping the extension enabled or disabled), Trust-Prompt stores only minimal technical preferences using the browser’s extension storage:

This information is stored locally and never leaves the user’s device.

5. Websites on Which the Extension Operates

Trust-Prompt StoreBasic operates exclusively on the following websites:

Trust-Prompt is not active on any other websites.

6. Permissions

The permissions requested by the Trust-Prompt extension are used solely to:

intercept user-entered text before submission on supported AI chat websites, and
display warnings or blocking messages when potentially sensitive content is detected.

The permissions are not used for tracking, analytics, data collection, or data transmission.

7. Legal Basis (GDPR)

Trust-Prompt StoreBasic is designed to avoid processing personal data by Media Train OÜ.

Where no personal data is processed, no legal basis under Article 6 GDPR is required.

Where strictly necessary local technical storage is used to provide the core functionality of the extension, the processing is based on:

Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing and securing the core functionality), and
Article 25 GDPR (data protection by design and by default).

8. User Rights

Because Trust-Prompt StoreBasic does not collect or store personal data on systems operated by Media Train OÜ, requests under GDPR Articles 15–20 (access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability) are generally not applicable.
